Our school

Welcome to Milentash Primary School and Agriculture development. We are situated in
Gbonkomayemi Port Loko District, Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Our School

Our school was in need of a new and functional school building, outside teaching spaces and playing areas. We are continually raising funds to provide our pupils and hard working teachers with new classrooms, water facilities and school equipment.

Local Agriculture

The local community generously donated land to our school for the cultivation of cash crops and environmental studies. We have planted and grown groundnuts, cassava leaves and cashew nuts. We are looking to grow more crops and train the local community.

Our Projects

The school building construction is an ongoing project started with the help of local workman, carpenters and volunteers using locally sourced materials. We are looking at continuing to grow our school facilities and offer financial assistance to those in need.

ABOUT US

Our School Motto: Knowledge Is For Life !

Milentash Primary School is here to serve the local children and support the local community of Gbonko-Mayeami village in the Port Loko District, Sierra Leone, West Africa.
We started a school building project with limited resources locally and funds raised from donors monthly contributions. We were able to start the construction of a 4 classroom block school building to house our pupils and help our teachers to provide more structured lessons. The initial plan and target was to complete the first school construction before the rainy season began.
The land donated by the local community was cleared and prepared. Our school construction started using locally sourced materials- mud bricks and bush sticks. We are so grateful for the continued support and generosity from the local community and elders. We are excited to see how we can build and grow our school and  make a long lasting, multi generational contribution to our beautiful country of Sierra Leone.
